With the release of his fourth studio album, “Timeless,” Afrobeat superstar Davido has set another record for Afrobeats and African music in general on the US charts.
In only 24 hours of tracking, Davido’s album “Timeless,” which was likely one of the most anticipated albums of 2023, has smashed a record for African music and Afrobeats on the Apple Music US albums chart.
Recall, Mp3bullet reported that the new project by the DMW boss has become the fastest Nigerian album to reach the top 3 of the US Album Music Album chart.
Wizkid previously held the record with his album ‘More Love Less Ego,‘ and Burna Boy’s ‘Love Damini‘ peaked at number four on the chart.
In addition, ‘Timeless‘ is also the number one album on the Apple Music Top Albums Chart for Nigeria, and all of the songs have debuted on the Apple Music Top Songs Nigeria chart.
