I’m Already Working With Drake – Davido Says As He Lists His Dream Collaborations.
Nigerian afrobeat superstar David Adedeji Adeleke, who is professionally known as Davido, disclosed that he is already working with Canadian rapper Drake as he revealed his dream collaborations.
In a recent appearance with The Fade Show on US radio, he made this revelation. Davido named a few well-known foreign musicians when asked about his ideal collaborations.
Before revealing that he is already working with Drake, he mentioned performers he would want to collaborate with, including Harry Styles, Rihanna, Drake, and Ed Sheeran.
He also hinted at a collaboration that was supposed to be on his latest record-breaking album Timeless; it is, however, unclear with which artist it was.
There is also an unsubstantiated claim floating around the internet that Drake was intended to be on Timeless and will be on the deluxe edition, which Davido and his crew have yet to confirm.

Meantime, Davido has stated that Canadian rapper, Drake, helped in putting the global spotlight on Afrobeats.
The DMW boss said this while answering questions in an interview with Bootleg Kev Podcast, published on Tuesday.
He said, “There are always narratives like, “Oh, Afrobeats was definitely huge before Drake” but Drake is Drake, so I’d be lying if I said he didn’t put some spotlight on Afrobeats, and you know it was dope.
“He has made some dope records,” the singer added.
