Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, famously known as Davido, has disclosed the Nigerian musician who influenced his decision to acquire a 2024 Matte Black Tesla Cybertruck.
This revelation comes shortly after the DMW record label boss made headlines for adding the futuristic vehicle to his impressive car collection.
Sharing the update on his Instagram story, Davido showcased a video of the eye-catching Tesla Cybertruck awaiting shipment. The sleek vehicle was seen alongside his luxurious Rolls Royce, which is reportedly worth ₦924 million.

In an unexpected twist, Davido admitted that it was a veteran Nigerian rapper based in the United States who inspired his latest acquisition.
According to the “Unavailable” crooner, sitting in the artiste’s Tesla Cybertruck left such an impression that he decided to purchase one for himself.
The artist in question is none other than Lanre Dabiri, popularly known as Eldee the Don. Eldee, who has been living in the U.S., shared photos of his Tesla Cybertruck on his Instagram page some time ago, expressing his excitement about owning the vehicle.
In his post, Eldee captioned, “I promised to post after getting it wrapped and forgot…here you go. Some guy flipped me off this morning because his girl lost her composure when I pulled up 😆😂. That color shifting ppf makes me smile every time I look back☺️ What’s your favorite CT wrap so far?”
Reacting to this post in the comments section, Davido acknowledged Eldee’s influence, saying: “I was privileged to sit in your car first … u made me buy mine .!!”
