Africa’s richest man, Dangote buys two cars every 8 years – Davido reveals

Davido discusses the financial advice given to him by Aliko Dangote.
Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, often known as Davido, has revealed the financial advice that Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote gave him.
The DMW boss revealed it in a recent interview with Forbes, where he also mentioned that the billionaire buys two cars every eight years.
Davido discussed his family’s friendship with the CEO of the Dangote Group and mentioned that his father, Adedeji Adeleke, is friends with the richest black man in the world.
Omo Baba Olowo claims that every time they meet, Dangote counsels him to save his money and refrain from making extravagant purchases.
In his words; “Uncle Aliko is a very different kind of billionaire. Uncle Aliko buys like two cars every eight years. He’s a very disciplined and very different kind of billionaire.
“Every time I see him, he just says one thing, ‘Save your money!’. There’s nothing more he tells me, everytime save your money. He and my dad have been very close friends.
“And he Dangote has done well for us [Nigerians] back home. He made us a lot of industries. He just opened the biggest factory in Africa. That’s providing jobs.”
