    Davido has weighed in on the power struggle between Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2023 general election.

    In response to Davido’s tweet, a fan inquired whether he would be voting for Peter Obi [“OBidient,”] Atiku [“Atikulated,” or Tinubu [“Jagabanist,”] the candidates of the Labour Party, the Peoples Democratic Party, and the All Progressives Congress, respectively, in the 2023 presidential election.

    Replying to the tweet, Davido wrote Osun.

    The singer’s reply means he is more focused on Osun’s gubernatorial election.

    Davido consistently campaigns for his uncle Ademola Adeleke who is the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun state.

    During the weekend, the singer took to Twitter to share his opinion over the Osun Gubernatorial debate hosted by Channel TV.

    When a tweep criticized Sen Adeleke for stating that jobs creation will help solve the cultism issue in Osun, Davido responded with;

    “If there were jobs wouldn’t crime reduce …. #factscheck at this point y’all know ur gonna lose on Sunday so right now una don dey crase for upstairs … it’s allowed”
