Throwing stones but you live in glass house – Davido responds to Pinnick’s allegations
David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has apparently responded to Amaju Pinnick, the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), who claimed that Davido refused to attend an event in Warri, Delta State, despite being paid more than $94,600 (about N72 million) for it.
As previously reported, Pinnick recently criticized Davido for declining to play at this year’s Warri Again festival despite supposedly receiving money in the amount of $94,600 and the organizers having reserved a private jet for him at a cost of $18,000.
He promised to teach the singer a lesson and said that he was growing too proud Despite not being a bigger musician than Burna Boy, who is part Itsekiri (Warri),.
Davido posted on his X account, “Throwing stones but u dey live for glass house,” in what appears to be a jab at the former head of the Glass House, the NFF headquarters.
Davido promised his fans in Warri that he will visit their city soon in another post, boasting that no one could stop him from performing anywhere in Nigeria.
“Nobody can stop me from performing anywhere in Nigeria… Warri I will see you soon,” he wrote.
He also posted a picture of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, logo with the caption; “Make I no talk.”
