Davido reacts after Dammy Krane called him out over alleged debt
After being called out by Dammy Krane for supposedly owing him money, David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, has defended himself.
Dammy alleged that Davido refused to pay him for penning the song’s co-lyrics, Pere, which featured American rappers Rae Sremmurd and Young Thug and became the artist’s 2017 blockbuster single.
Dammy Krane tagged OBO on Twitter and stated that he did not want to resort to publicly criticising him but had no other option after receiving no answer to his private appeals.
Additionally, he posted an image of a 2017 tweet by Davido in which he mentioned Dammy as one of the songwriters.
”Shoutout @dammy_krane !! Co wrote the hook on PERE with me!!” the screenshot reads.
He asked the ‘FIA’ hitmaker to send him the money that’s due him for co-writing Pere.
Dammy wrote; ”All my rich guys wey Dey owe me money , today na Monday o , abi make we bring am come ‘The Supreme High Twitter Court’ ???????????? #ESHE
My Blooda @davido Run the check ???? I don reach out to people over the years based on split sheet & outstanding, No response , we no gats Dey get this convo here ????????”

Hours after the post, Davido took to his Twitter account to react to the allegation by making a post that suggested he was not perturbed.
He shared a photo of himself biting into a bag of money in what seems like he is making a mockery of the claim. The ‘Jowo’ hitmaker uploaded the photo with just a laughing emoji as the caption.
