    Davido Reacts After His Uncle Receives His Certificate from INEC

    David Adeleke, also known as Davido, expressed his relief after his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, received a certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) following his election victory.

    The uncle of Davido, Senator Ademola Adeleke won the election of governorship last Saturday in Osun State. The musician was seen numerous times on campaign grounds and on election day with his uncle.

    Recall Davido, was praised for his role in his uncle’s victory in the recently concluded gubernatorial race.

    However, after his uncle was elected governor of Osun State, his certificate was delayed for 48 hours, and he was hopeful that the state institution would release the results to validate his victory.

    This caused Davido to criticise the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on his Twitter page in the early hours of yesterday over the delay.

    Finally, INEC issued the certificate to Ademola Adeleke.

    In a fresh tweet seen on his account, Davido once more congratulated his uncle and explained how he had to risk his career to help him win the elections.

    He also revealed that he was going back to the studio to focus on his music career.
