The DMW Boss speaks on the possibility of collaborating with Burna Boy and Wizkid

Afrobeats heavyweight Davido has addressed the longstanding question on fans’ minds: Could a collaboration with Wizkid or Burna Boy still happen?
In his recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, the Feel crooner got candid about his relationships with fellow Nigerian superstars Wizkid and Burna Boy.
When asked if he was still close to the other two members of the so-called Big 3, Davido said: “I don’t have a personal relationship with them. I did at some point.”
While fans have often speculated about deep-seated beef among the trio, Davido downplayed the tension, hinting that most of the drama is fueled by fan rivalry rather than actual animosity.
“It’s not impossible. It’s just the people around us who wouldn’t want that to happen,” he said about a potential collaboration.
Davido emphasized that although the Big 3 remain central figures in Afrobeats, the movement has grown far beyond them.
“The conversation is bigger than the Big 3 right now. There’s Rema, there’s Ayra Starr, and so many artists… and I think that right now, three of us understand that.”

Despite the ongoing friction—especially recent jabs from Burna Boy and an on-and-off feud with Wizkid that has lasted over a decade—Davido appears to be taking the high road.
His willingness to leave the door open for future collaborations has sparked renewed hope among fans dreaming of a historic Big 3 record.
While a track featuring Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy remains elusive for now, Davido’s comments hint that it’s not completely off the table.
