David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, drew reactions online after he checked his ‘Ice Necklace’ as he narrowly avoided being dragged down by a fan at an event in Abuja.
In a video that has gone viral, an ecstatic fan went on stage and attempted to seize Davido during his performance.
However, OBO guards swiftly moved to the scene to rescue him from the fan but there has been no verified report confirming the whereabouts of the fan if he was whisked out of the show thereafter.
Many internet users, however, remarked on how Davido touched his neck to make sure his Ice Necklace was still intact.

A similar incident happened to his colleague in the industry, Wizkid during his concert in Abuja last week.
An over-excited fan was said to have torn the Grammy Award winner’s cloth while performing on stage before his guards came to his rescue too.
