David Adeleke, commonly known as Davido, took to social media to commemorate the birthday of his late mother, Veronica Adeleke, who passed away in 2003.
Davido has been in the news for over a week after raising funds online to donate to orphanages around Nigeria before his birthday. A day before his birthday, he gave N250 million to orphanages around Nigeria.
Although the artist lost his mother 18 years ago, he continues to honour her every year on her birthday. The DMW Boss has wished his mum a happy birthday on his Snapchat feed.
He also published photographs of his beloved mother with the remark “happy birthday sweet mother” on his social media platforms.

Davido, on the other hand, has arrived in Ghana to continue his birthday celebrations. The “Fem” crooner spent a few days in Dubai with his crew to celebrate his 29th birthday before arriving in Ghana.
When the 30BG leader and his team arrived at Kotoka Airport to cool down and have some fun in the country, some of the artist’s most ardent fans flocked to the arrival lounge to see him.
While he was being escorted to his car, his fans were seen welcoming him.
