Davido’s Groundbreaking Achievement: Six Consecutive Years at Number 1 on Nigeria’s Music Chart

In a historic milestone, Afrobeats sensation Davido has made a groundbreaking achievement on Nigeria’s premier music chart, becoming the first artist to secure a number 1 song in Nigeria for six consecutive years.
This remarkable feat was revealed by TurnTable Charts, Nigeria’s leading music publication, after Davido’s latest track “With You,” featuring Omah Lay, claimed the top spot, marking his first No. 1 song of 2025.
The song, part of his recently released fifth studio album 5ive, now stands as Davido’s 11th No. 1 hit on the TurnTable Top 100, with his first chart-topping track being the massive “FEM” in 2020.

This new achievement underscores Davido’s stature as one of Nigeria’s most influential musicians, whose music has helped shape the Afrobeats movement for over a decade.
Following the album release, the five-time Grammy nominee is gearing up for the highly anticipated 5 Alive tour.
The tour will span 13 dates, with highlights including a headlining performance at the iconic 60,000-capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the UK, alongside American hip hop legend 50 Cent and Grammy-winning artist Mary J. Blige.
