Davido Records Historic Debut On The UK Albums Chart With ‘Timeless’.
The DMW boss David Adedeji Adeleke, known professionally as Davido has made a historic debut record on the UK album charts with the release of his “Timeless” project.
With his fourth studio album, “Timeless,” Davido has joined Burna Boy as the only Nigerian artist to make a historic debut on the UK Albums Top.
As of the 31st of March 2023, when his album “Timeless” was released, Davido has joined Burna Boy as the only Nigerian musician to ever have their debut in the top 10 of the UK albums chart.
Timeless debuted at position 10 on the UK Albums chart, moving up to become the second-highest-ranking Nigerian album behind Burna Boy’s “Love Damini,” which debuted at position 2.
This is OBO’s first top 10 album on the chart and the singer took to his social media platform to share the exciting news as well.

In addition, Davido also posted the popular “Unavailable” challenge, dropping a hint that it may potentially be a music video.
Davido’s album has been setting records ever since it came out, the most recent being a new record for the first week of listening on Spotify Nigeria.
The 17-track album has set records across streaming platforms as it becomes the most streamed album in a week on Boomplay, Apple Music Africa, Audiomack Global, and Spotify Nigeria.
