Davido recently stated that he and rap singer Olamide are deserving of national recognition.
In a post on his Instagram page, he expressed his feelings by reposting a message from a fan who called for them to be recognised for their contributions to society.
He claims that both performers have produced stars on their own who have endured in the public eye even in the absence of Godfathers.
Davido concurred further, saying that the reason they think the national honour is deserving is because they have helped many people in the entertainment sector become millionaires.
