Davido has released a photo of a new tattoo he recently got in remembrance of his late friend and business partner, Obama DMW, who passed away earlier this year.
Davido just posted a new tattoo on his arm that he got in memory of his late friend, Obama DMW, in a new photo. On Wednesday, December 8, 2021, he posted this on his Instagram stories.
Obama DMW died on June 29th, shortly after complaining of chest trouble and driving himself to the hospital. Davido’s late music executive was a dear friend and a key figure in his DMW record label.
Davido took it hard after Obama’s death and withdrew from social media for a period. He was only photographed or videotaped while he was eulogizing his late companion.
In the photo the father of three posted on his Instagram stories, he is showing off his new tattoo, which is an inscription of the phrase “44 O fe rege” in tribute to Obama.
The musician also recently had a picture of him and Obama put into a frame.

The DMW also took to his Instastory page to express how much he missed the late bodyguard, Teejay around him.
“One year gone already!! Miss and love you TJ. 2021 a year I’d never forget,” he wrote while sharing a photo of him.
