‘Why I don’t block Wizkid FC and other trolls who abuse me online’: Singer Davido discloses
Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed why he chooses not to block trolls and critics, especially members of Wizkid FC who frequently attack him on social media.
The DMW boss, who has been highly active on X (formerly Twitter), shared his stance on September 12, 2025.
In recent exchanges, Davido clapped back at several online users who mocked him.
One user, @boy1oner, called him a “Mugu,” prompting Davido to fire back by branding the tweep an imbecile. Another Wizkid supporter, Seun, mocked the singer with the comment, “see person wey marry,” to which Davido responded, “U dey svck pr!ck gan.”
A third user, @ONLY1EMIZO, tweeted, “Na why dem no fit ever rate u for this industry🤣🤣.” Davido swiftly countered, stating: “Me wey Dey give industry life.”
Explaining his approach, Davido made it clear that blocking trolls is not an option for him. Instead, he prefers that they witness his continuous success.
“Me I no Dey block … I wan make u Dey see my doings … but I go curse ur papa 😂,” Davido tweeted.
The award-winning singer added that he would continue to “pepper” critics with his achievements, making sure his growth remains visible to those who wish him failure.
