Davido reveals how he wants to use music to change how the world sees Africa
David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has stated that one of his goals as an entertainer is to utilise music to alter how the world perceives Africa.
According to him, he is trying to change the perception that Africa is a civilizational backward continent that the west has been taught or persuaded to believe through the use of his songs.
Davido spoke during a chat with Travel Noire while also recounting a childhood experience which propels him to project Nigeria and the African continent in a positive light.
He recounted growing up in America, and instances where he had to fly to and fro but it amazed white people who wondered how Africans flew abroad.
The ‘If’ crooner said he informed the people that asked that he informed them that he used airplane and they were shocked to hear that airports existed in African countries

In other news, Davido is now in the business of tensioning his neighbours as he recently added a Quad Bike to his luxurious collection.
The Fem singer took to Instagram to show off his recently purchased, customised Quad Bike. As seen in the video, the bike was custom-made for OBO.
While introducing his newborn to followers and detractors, Davido warned his Banana Island neighbours that he would be disturbing their peace and tranquillity by riding his bike through their neighbourhood.
Davido was careful not to mention the price he paid for the bike.
