Afrobeats heavyweight Davido has once again sent fans into a frenzy after announcing a fresh extension of his already massive “5ive Alive” World Tour, with new shows lined up across Africa, Europe, and North America in 2026.

Coming off a hugely successful run in late 2025, the global superstar is clearly not slowing down. Instead, Davido is doubling down, taking his fifth studio album, 5ive, to even more cities and continents, while further cementing his place as one of Africa’s most powerful musical exports.
The newly added leg of the tour will officially kick off on February 7, 2026, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where Davido will perform at the Lugalo Golf Club.
The show is expected to be a major moment for East African fans, many of whom have been eagerly awaiting a full-scale Davido concert in the region. His return to this part of the continent highlights his continued commitment to African audiences, even as his global profile soars.
Another notable African stop comes later in the year, with Davido set to headline a major concert in Lusaka, Zambia, on May 2, 2026, at the Showgrounds Polo Field.
The Southern African date is being described by fans as a “homecoming moment,” reinforcing Davido’s deep connection to the continent amid his international dominance.
Europe will also get a heavy dose of the “5ive Alive” experience, as Davido embarks on an intense two-week run across some of the continent’s biggest cities.

Perhaps the most talked-about addition to the tour calendar is Davido’s historic debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California.
The Nigerian superstar is billed to perform on both Saturdays, April 11 and April 18, 2026, marking his first-ever appearance at one of the world’s biggest music festivals.
Even more significantly, Davido stands as the only Afrobeats act on the 2026 Coachella lineup, sharing the stage with global heavyweights such as Justin Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter.
For many fans and industry watchers, this moment represents another major win for Afrobeats and a clear sign of the genre’s growing influence on the world’s biggest platforms.
With new cities added, landmark festival appearances confirmed, and Africa firmly at the heart of the journey, Davido’s “5ive Alive” World Tour is shaping up to be more than just a concert run, it’s a statement of global dominance.
