This move marks DMW’s second signing of 2025, following the addition of Boi Chase earlier in the year. Fans are already buzzing with excitement over what Toye’s addition could mean for future projects, collaborations, and the continued global expansion of DMW’s influence.
Known for his sharp ear for talent, Davido’s endorsement of Toye has sparked high expectations for what the young artist will deliver.
With this new signing, DMW’s momentum remains strong, and the label appears set for even greater achievements as it nurtures fresh voices for the global Afrobeats stage.

Speaking on a new episode of the American podcast Bag Fuel Brigade, Davido recalled living alone with his father in their massive 16-bedroom mansion after his siblings moved abroad.
During that time, he revealed he secretly built a music studio inside the house — without his father’s knowledge.
“I was living alone with my dad in a 16-bedroom mansion because all my siblings were in America. I had a studio in the house and he didn’t know. A complete studio where I spent most of my time making music and smoking,” Davido recounted.
