Superstar, Davido is set to make his acting debut in a Hollywood film.
While details of the new film are yet to be revealed, the singer stated that filming is currently underway in California in an interview with DJ Carisma on ‘Checc’d In Carisma.’
“I got movies coming on,” Davido said. “I did a little acting in ‘Coming to America 2’ but I didn’t really act, I performed at the wedding. Now I’m about to do a little acting, I just got enrolled in this movie, part of why I’m out here.”

Fans were also teased recently with photographs of a movie set trailer published on Instagram by the renowned singer.
Recollect Davido featured on the sequel to the 1988 smash comedy film ‘Coming to America‘ in 2021. He appeared in the comedy film as himself, singing one of his hit songs, “Assurance“.
