Don Jazzy Suggested I Name My Album Timeless – Davido

Davido explains how Don Jazzy was the source of his album’s name.
Trending topic of the moment Davido has disclosed that Don Jazzy came up with the idea for the name of his new, record-breaking album Timeless, which he then christened.
The superstar revealed this lately while answering questions about his new album “Timeless.”
On March 31, Davido released “Timeless,” his fourth studio album. On the day of its release, the 17-track album broke a number of records, including the record for the top-charting Nigerian album on US Apple Music.
When questioned why he called his album Timeless, the musician said that Don Jazzy had offered the name to him more than a year before the album was released.
According to reports, Don Jazzy offered the album’s name in a message to Davido on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Davido nearly chose a different title but eventually settled for Timeless, as suggested by the Mavin Records’ owner.

In the meantime, Davido has spoken out about how he dealt with the passing of his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke and the impact on “Timeless”.
The musician revealed in a CNN interview that the loss of his son had an impact on his work.
Davido, who recently released his fourth studio album, Timeless, stated that the album went through at least three different stages before being finalised.
And while there are songs on the album that are very upbeat and full of “positive feelings,” the artist claims that the death of his son had some influence on the record.
“Before my son passed, we had finished the album. But it was a tragic situation and I really had to calm myself down and take a step back,” he explained.
“On the album, you will hear a couple of songs that might take you back and into some emotions … you will definitely hear me talk about a couple of things I’ve been through personally,” he added.
The musician attributes his successful comeback to the tremendous support he received from his loved ones, friends, fans, and well-wishers.
