    Nigerian Superstar, Davido has congratulated Anambra Governor-elect Professor Charles Soludo.

    Despite his busy schedule as a singer, Davido appears to be engaged in Nigerian politics. Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo was just elected governor of Anambra state, and the musician was among those who greeted him.

    Taking to social media, the Assurance singer uploaded a picture of Soludo thanking the people of the state for their votes. Davido then praised him, saying that he deserved to win.

    The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) was declared the winner of the governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday.

    OBO, who has always been outspoken about politics, congratulated the people of Anambra and stressed that votes must count.

    He wrote:

    “Congrats sir, it’s just simple, let votes count! Congrats to my Anambra people. Over to you, your excellency”.

    On Tuesday, The singer had dragged INEC after they declared Anambra Governorship 2021 election inconclusive and disclosed that there would be a supplementary election in the 326 polling units across Ihiala.

    Via his Instagram story, the DMW Label Boss expressed displeasure, whilst describing INEC as useless people.
