That Next Rated Is Yours – Davido Picks Odumodu Black Over Asake As His Headies’ Next Rated Choice.
Afrobeat award-winning artist David Adedeji Adeleke, who is professionally known as Davido, has generated outrage on social media after choosing Odumodublvck over Asake as his Headies’ Next Rated Choice.
Odumodublvck, who went viral after his song ‘Declan Rice‘ reached number one on Apple Music a few weeks ago, received encouragement from music icon Davido, who told him on FaceTime that he had won the Next Rated award.
In a video that circulated on Twitter, Odumodublvck and Davido were on FaceTime, and The DMW boss assured him that he would win the Headies’ annual Next Rated award.
‘You see that Next Rated, na you go collect am’, those were the words from Davido to Odumodublvck.
