    The feat comes shortly after the release of his fifth studio project, 5ive, which has been met with wide acclaim both locally and internationally. The latest milestone further cements Davido’s position as one of Africa’s most-streamed and influential artists.

    Taking to social media to reflect on his journey, Davido highlighted the unique path he has taken in building his music career.

    According to him, unlike some of his contemporaries who had early endorsements or industry support, he built his empire without major co-signs.

    “No co-sign, built from the ground up! Just God, good music and the best fans! Appreciate you guys fr [for real]!”, he wrote.

    In another cryptic post, the ‘Unavailable’ crooner referenced how certain tracks like “Kante” and “Away” gradually gained momentum months after their release—hinting that more surprises could still come from his latest body of work.

    “The way ‘lately’ go creep in just like how Kante and Away crept in months after!! Who wan even CO-SIGN big man like me ?? Hmmm another angle sha 5️⃣”, Davido added.

    Davido’s recent numbers place him among the top Nigerian artists with the highest monthly listenership on Spotify, joining the ranks of Burna Boy, Rema, Tems, and Wizkid in global digital dominance.
