    In the first 24 hours after the release of his album “Timeless,” Nigerian award-winning singer Davido set a new record on Audiomack by amassing over 12 million streams.

    On March 31, 2023, the DMW boss dropped his fourth studio album. The eagerly awaited 17-track album comes after the award-winning singer, who has solidified himself as Africa’s most potent hitmaker, had an unusually quiet time.

    The 17-track album is the fourth in Davido’s renowned discography, after “A Better Time,” “A Good Time,” and “Omo Baba Olowo (The Genesis).”

    With guest appearances from the likes of Skepta, Angelique Kidjo, Asake, Musa Keys, Focalistic, FAVE, The Cavemen, , and the newly signed artists on his rebranded  2.0 imprint; Logos Olori and Morravey were featured on the project.

    24 hours after its release, ‘Timeless’ broke a record on Audiomack streaming platforms by becoming the first album ever to receive over 12 million streams.

    Four days after the album’s release, the streaming platform announced it on its official Twitter page.

    Davido, who quoted the tweet, responded with an emoji expressing his shock.

    Audiomack, via its Twitter handle, wrote:

    “???? RECORD-BREAKING: @davido’s #Timeless had over 12 MILLION streams in its first 24 hours, more than any other album on Audiomack, ever! ???? ????

    In addition, the singer’s album has already set a record on Boomplay after reaching one million streams within 6 hours of release.
