Davido’s “Fall” receives Gold certification plaque in France.
Nigerian Afrobeat singer David Adedeji Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, has bagged a Gold certification plaque for his 2017 hit song ‘Fall’ in France.
The artist has achieved another professional milestone with the success of his song “Fall,” and his international success is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.
The DMW CEO has claimed the plaque he earned for his breakthrough song, “Fall,” achieving gold in France.
In November 2022, the song received a Gold certification in France after racking up 15 million streams and selling 100,000 units.
Davido and the DMW team went to the Sony Music headquarters to pick up their individual Gold certification plaques.
In the same way, “Fall” has received Gold certification for 2020 in both Canada and the US. It is also the first song from Nigeria to achieve gold status in the US.

Recall, On March 31, 2023, Davido released his new album, “Timeless,” which has since broken all five of Nigeria’s top streaming platforms’ previous first-week records.
The album has the largest number of first-week streams in Audiomack history.
‘Timeless‘ sets a new record for the most first-day and first-week streams of any album on Spotify Nigeria, Apple Music Africa, Boomplay, and YouTube Nigeria.
Davido is expected to perform songs from the album on April 23, 2023, in his highly awaited event in TBS Lagos.
