Davido Shuts Down Osun State After Arriving His Hometown Amid Heavy Security
David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, is in his home state of Osun to promote and encourage voters to cast votes for his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, the PDP’s candidate for governor in the election this Saturday.
David was greeted by a large crowd who came out to greet him as he arrived in style in his father’s homeland.
The musician is seen in a video on the streets urging voters to choose his uncle surrounded by a crowd, shouting “OBO”.
In another video, the singer was seen hugging his uncle tightly while other videos show him heavily guarded as he and his cousin, B-Red take a cruise around the state.

Also arriving in Osun State to support the PDP’s nominee for governor, Ademola Adeleke, in the election on Saturday are governors who were elected on its platform.
Some of the governors in the state at present are Governors Douye Diri of Bayelsa State, Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, and Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, who is also the vice presidential candidate of the party.
Also, present in the state ahead of the PDP’s Grand Rally on Thursday are former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and top officials of the party, including Vice Chairman South-West Soji Adagunodo.
This comes at the heels of Portable’s support for the incumbent Governor, Gov Oyetola
Recall that Mp3bullet.ng reported that Portable ived harsh criticism from followers after sharing a video of himself with Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola in Oshogbo yesterday.
The Zazuu Crooner was captured in the video campaigning for the Osun State governor, who is running for re-election under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Additionally, Portable demonstrated to the camera a bag of cash, indicating that he had been “bankrolled.”
He asked Osun state voters to support Oyetola and APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu by saying, “Akoi Kudi, Akoi Grace, Akoi 4+4”
