Award-winning Nigerian singer, Davido has organised an online talent contest for singers and dancers in collaboration with Orbiiit, a talent management company.
In an Instagram post, Davido said the competition was to celebrate the release of the visuals for ‘La La’, a track off his 2020 album ‘A Better Time’, featuring Ckay.
According to him, the winner of the competition would go home with a cash prize of 10,000 dollars.
“My people! Tag someone who you think can win my global talent competition! Calling all singers and dancers. I am giving away 10,000 dollars in cash and a chance to go live with Me on IG by hosting a global talent competition in partnership with @orbiiitapp,” he wrote.
“Join for free now or share it with someone who has what it takes to win this! Submissions are now live on orbiiit.com/Davido.”

He recently marked his ten years in the music industry anniversary. Davido came into the spotlight following the release of ‘Back When’ and ‘Dami Duro’, his hit singles in 2011.
The ‘OBO’ crooner has since established himself as a household name in the global music landscape with numerous awards and recognition.

Meanwhile, Davido has been accused of stealing his song, “Jowo” from another artist, Victor AD. This allegation was made by a Twitter user who claimed it have heard it from an interview.
However, Victor AD debunked the claim and Davido’s lawyer, Prince confirmed this and revealed that DMW signee, Deinde co-wrote the song alongside the DMW Label boss.
