Davido and Lojay Make First Entry On Billboard Hot 100
Davido and Lojay have made their first entry on the Billboard Hot 100, thanks to their featured credits on Chris Brown’s “Sensational.”
Released on October 20 via CBE/RCA Records, the song debuts at No. 96 on the Hot 100 (dated Feb. 3) with 15.7 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 14%) and 2.6 million official U.S. streams (up 3%) in the January 19-25 tracking week, according to Luminate.
Both singers have joined the list of Afrobeats star Burna Boy, Wizkid, Rema, CKay, Tems and Fireboy to appear on this charts.
Reacting to this feat, Davido shared a list of milestones people thought he could never reach but he proved them wrong.
He wrote, “He’d never be Grammy- nominated. He proved them wrong.
“No billboard Hot 100 Entry.” He achieved it
“No Uk certification. He secured it
“They never learn. Davido isn’t one to be dared. He’ll relegate your fave and lock up the city.”
