Davido has earned another certification plaque as a result of his collaboration on the remix of “Ke Star” by South Africa’s Focalistic.
“Ke Star” remix which was released by Focalistic in 2021 and features Davido is now certified 3x platinum in South Africa which means the song has moved an equivalent of 90,000 physical sales.

Davido posted a video with the SOuth African Singer on his Instagram story on Saturday, the 29th of May 2021.
In the video, he is seen holding the plaque with the South African rapper beside him while they’re both partying in the club. Imprinted on the plaque were the wordings,
“Three X Platinum Award, presented to FOCALISTIC”.

They performed ‘Ke Star (Remix)’ to the amazement of fans across board. Davido also performed his Gold-certified single, ‘Fall.’

The singer famously featured on the remix of “Ke Star” with Vigro Deep, a song that made waves in Nigeria as well as South Africa and birthed the now-common phrase and street lingua, “I dey catch cruise forget”.
A few weeks ago, the two artists also announced that they were working on a joint EP together.
