Davido makes first public appearance, hits Osun for Adeleke’s inauguration
David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, and his fiancée Chioma have made their first public appearance in Osun State weeks following the death of their son Ifeanyi.
Davido, who lost his only child on November 1, was present for his uncle Nurudeen Adeleke’s inauguration as the state’s governor.
On Sunday afternoon, the OBO actor attended his uncle Ademola Adeleke’s swearing-in as governor of Osun. He can be seen in a video attending the event with family members.
Netizens were ecstatic when the star’s father requested that Chioma, Davido’s partner, appear in the video.
Many were jubilant to see the Afrobeats singer after so long even though he had trimmed down as a result of the tragic incident.

Ifeanyi was said to have drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s residence in Banana Island, Lagos.
Sunday’s inauguration comes months after Adeleke, the gubernatorial flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), secured 403,371 votes to defeat Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 375,027 votes.
He won 17 LGAs in the state while the APC clinched 13 LGAs.
