UK-Based Uprising Singer Robby Law Calls Out Davido And Accuses Him of Collecting £15K for a Song
Afrobeats superstar Davido has been embroiled in another controversy, this time involving accusations of fraud from UK-based artist Robby Law.
In a viral video, Robby Law alleged that he paid Davido £15,000 (approximately N28 million) for a collaboration that was recorded over four years ago, but Davido has failed to release the song.
According to Robby Law, when he recently approached Davido about the song, he was asked to provide additional funds to record new music instead. Allegedly, Davido claimed that the old collaboration was no longer viable. The UK-based singer expressed his disappointment and frustration in the emotional video.
This accusation adds to a series of controversies involving Davido, including recent claims by Portable that Davido used him for clout and provided misleading advice. There have also been previous accusations, such as one from Dammy Krane claiming Davido owed him money.
As this situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how Davido and his team will respond to these allegations and what steps Robby Law may take next to address the issue.
