Dave Confirms Collaboration with Tems on Forthcoming Album The Boy Who Played The Harp

British rap heavyweight Dave has confirmed that his highly anticipated third studio album, The Boy Who Played The Harp, will feature Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Tems. The project is scheduled for release this Friday, October 24, 2025.
Speculation about the collaboration had been building for weeks after billboards bearing both artists’ names appeared across London, sparking excitement among fans online.
The rumors were further fueled when Tems hinted at their studio connection during a previous chat with media personality Craig Mitch.
“Definitely Dave. Tems & Dave would be mad. Dave is the realest,” she said, confirming that the pair had indeed been working on new music together.
The partnership brings together two boundary-pushing artists from different corners of the world: Dave, the introspective lyricist celebrated for his storytelling prowess, and Tems, whose soulful Afrobeats sound continues to resonate on global stages.

Dave, whose last full-length project, We’re All Alone In This Together (2021), earned him widespread acclaim and the Mercury Prize, has cemented his place as one of Britain’s most respected rappers.
Tems, on the other hand, has become one of Nigeria’s brightest exports, with her ethereal vocals gracing hit collaborations with Drake and Beyoncé, and a growing influence across international music circles.
With The Boy Who Played The Harp, Dave makes his return to album form, and the confirmed Tems feature is already being touted as one of the standout moments on the record.
As the countdown to October 24 continues, fans around the world are eager to see what this UK–Naija fusion will sound like and whether it will set a new benchmark for cross-continental collaborations in modern music.
