Burnaboy is still an upcoming compared to Wizkid and Davido — Daniel Regha.
Controversial Twitter influencer Daniel Regha is currently trending on the platform due to a controversial comment he made regarding Grammy Award winner Burna Boy.
In a recent interview, Regha described Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy as an up-and-coming performer when compared to Wizkid, Olamide, and Davido.
Regha stated during an appearance on the reality television star Doyin’s show “Doyin’s Corner” that Wizkid, Davido, and Olamide are all bigger than African Giant.
Davido’s refusal to pay the N20M he promised fans some months ago has led to Daniel Regha earlier disclosing that he will never be able to recover money from the musician.
Olamide has more popular songs than other Nigerian musicians, according to Daniel Regha, who also noted that many people don’t respect Olamide due to the lack of foreign collaborations, streaming, and organizer-created accolades that he has received.
In his opinion, comparing Burna Boy with Wizkid, Davido, and Olamide is more like to comparing Wizkid with 2Baba, D’banj, and other artists in the same category.
In his words: “Burna is still an upcomer compared to Wizkid, Davido and Olamide. When those artistes were popping, Burna was nowhere to be found…Burna is mostly popping now because he is in the streaming era.”
