18-year- old Bamiro Honey Ayomide, known better by her stage name Damella-Jean is an indigene of Ogun state, born and bred in Lagos, Nigeria. She is a singer, rapper, song-writer and actress, currently studying Performing Arts at University of Ilorin.
Damella-Jean’s first single, is a mix-tape on the fireflies instrumental produced in the year 2011. In 2012, she featured on another mixtape ‘Swagger Like Us’ and ‘Go Hard’. She was featured on an upcoming artist’s mix-tape ‘Why You Break My Heart’ in 2013.
Year 2014 brought a new dawn of Damella-jean as she started the year with ‘Melody’ released in January. Other mix-tapes singles include her hit-song ‘Freak’ released in June and its being aired on several radio stations across Nigeria, ‘My Man’ was released in March and featured HextyPayne also‘Party’ which she was featured on.
