Nigerian Dancehall star, Cynthia Morgan has gone public with her displeasure about the generosity shown to her colleague, Davido, by his followers.
Cynthia Morgan has slammed Davido over his birthday fundraising, claiming that if he truly rose by helping others and is now publicly asking for N1M, his boys are ungrateful.
On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, the musician took to Twitter to implore his devoted followers to pay him money.
In less than an hour after tweeting, he received over N50M.
As of Thursday, the music star had raked in over N150M from fans. The move made the music star number one trending topic worldwide on Twitter.
Cynthia Morgan, who took to Instagram Stories to express her displeasure with the singer’s decision, appeared to be thrilled by the gesture.

She Wrote;
“If you really rose by lifting others and you are asking for one meter publicly, then your boys are ungrateful. Make all of una lock up. Poor things.”
The singer also shared her thoughts about Davido compelling fans to celebrate him.
“If you have to compel people to celebrate you, it means there is nothing to be celebrated.”
She also stated that the fact that they all do music doesn’t mean they are all mates but for Davido to be asking or forcing people to celebrate him means there’s nothing to be celebrated and his boys are ungrateful because they don’t see what he has done for them.
She then added that Nigerians are myopic in that they think everything is about hate saying at least she’s not faking so she should be allowed to hate in peace claiming she’s not a billionaire but N1M is a chicken change for her.
