Cristiano Ronaldo becomes highest goal scorer with headers in football history.
Cristiano Ronaldo set a new record with his head as he scored the second goal for Al Nassr versus US Monastir in a King Salman Club Cup match on Tuesday at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo scored his 145th headed goal in the 74th minute after meeting Sultan Al Ghanam’s cross. He broke Gerd Muller’s record of 144 goals with his head.
The 38-year-old Ronaldo scored this goal, the 839th of his career, and did so for the 22nd straight year. Ronaldo was hoping for a breakthrough after going goalless in the preseason friendlies so far this season. His breakthrough came in this Arab Club Champions Cup match.
Al Nassr’s comeback was sparked by the goal, and the squad went on to win the game 4-1.
