Cristiano Ronaldo reveals delight after returning to Al-Nassr from Portugal international duty.
After finishing his international duties with Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo travelled back to Saudi Arabia to train with Al-Nassr.
The former Real Madrid forward anticipated playing in two matches for Portugal as they took on Slovakia and Luxembourg in their Group J qualifying matches for Euro 2024 as the international break got underway.
The Portuguese captain, however, was unable to play against Luxembourg because of a yellow card he received in the opening match against Slovakia. But Ronaldo continued to practice with the national squad and is currently back with Al-Nassr.
Al-Nassr, 38, has had a fantastic start to the season, scoring six goals and accumulating four assists in his first four games. However, Al-Nassr hasn’t exactly had the finest start, scoring just nine points during the first five games.
Al-Nasr’s match against Al-Raed will feature the Portuguese on Saturday, September 16.
