Anybody trying to compete with Rema is wasting their time – Crayon
Mavin Records artist Crayon has expressed a strong opinion that attempting to compete with his label mate, Rema, is a futile effort for any musician. Via his Twitter page, Crayon advised fellow entertainers with such thoughts to concentrate on their own path.
In his tweet, Crayon referred to Rema as a “spirit” and emphasized that attempting to compete with him would only result in playing catch-up. This assertion highlights the high regard and confidence Crayon has in Rema’s talent and impact in the music industry.
He wrote; “Anybody wey Dey try compete with REMA you Dey waste your time you will play catch up forever!!! Just focus on your lane !! Baba na spirit you Dey follow compete!!! Hmmm!!!”

Crayon expressed a bold statement on Twitter, asserting that he is a regenerated version of the Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid.
The ‘Ijo‘ hitmaker went on to claim that his essence also incorporates elements of Canadian superstars Drake and Justin Bieber.
This proclamation from Crayon reflects his confidence and self-assuredness in his artistic identity, drawing parallels between himself and established international and Nigerian music icons.
Such bold statements in the music industry often spark discussions among fans and peers, contributing to the dynamic and competitive nature of the entertainment world.
Crayon wrote, “I feel like I’m Wizkid REGEN with a touch of Drake and Justin Bieber!”
The young artist also explained that his humility doesn’t mean he is unaware of what he possesses.
I feel like Rema is burna boy REGEN with a touch of Travis Scott and playboy carti!!!!
