    Charles Chibueze Chukwu, better known by his stage name Crayon, has admitted that he was disappointed that he did not blow up right away after being signed by Mavin Records.

    He expressed doubt about his skill and expressed confusion about why no one has noticed him.

    On Sunday, July 31, Crayon stated in a series of tweets that he had discussed his concerns with his boss, Don Jazzy, and that the producer had reassured him that he would be a tremendous hit, but that the process will take time.

    He wrote;

    ”Last year December I was crying a baby like wtf is happening to me like I’m not talented enough to get gigs abi no be sing too correct, jackpot , sofine , and all those other dope records! But now I’ve lost count of how many shows I have done ! I’m grateful ❤️????????

    I remember going to JAZZY’s house crying to him like baba Wetin dey sup why them dey do like say them no dey see me! Haaaa JAZZY sha! The reassurance everytime! Baba go say calm down! No worry I no dey rush you I understand when your time come you go POP! And you go POP crazy!!!!”

    When a fan asked him to reveal the person who cut ‘soap’ for him, he replied;

    “If na soap e for don finish! Na Grace !”
