Nigerian Afropop artist and songwriter Charles Chibueze Chukwu, popularly known as Crayon, has confirmed the official release date for his debut studio album titled ‘Trench to Triumph’.

On July 16, the singer took to his social media page to let his followers know that on July 21, his debut album would be available on all digital platforms.

The artist signed to Mavin Records, who has released two EPs since joining the label in 2019, first gained notoriety by performing with Rema and other members of the 2019 Mavin all-star song, “All is in Order.”

Rumour has it that his debut album will include collaborations with Rema,  with whom he has a song, ‘Too Correct’ released in 2020, Maggixx, Bella Shmurda, who he featured on his single, ‘Jackpot’ in 2021, and BNXN.

In the post announcing the date of release, Crayon attached a short video which captured the title of the album ‘Trench to Triumph’. In the video, Crayon can be seen as a young person who wanted to play football and make music.
