Champions League quarter-final draw: Arsenal face Bayern Munich, Real Madrid take on Man City
The Champions League draw for the quarterfinals has been made, and Arsenal will face Bayern Munich while defending champion Manchester City will take on Real Madrid. Arsenal had to overcome Porto to reach the quarter-finals and will now face a Bayern side that is looking to bounce back after a disastrous start to the season. Man City vs. Real Madrid is sure to be a thrilling tie.
The two sides met in the semi-final last season, and it was Manchester City who won 4-0 after a first-leg draw. PSG will be looking to avenge their defeat to Barcelona in the last round of the competition.
PSG won 4-1 at Camp Nou last season. Borussia Dortmund will take on Atletico Madrid in the last-16 of the competition. This will be the first time Borussia have faced Atletico in the knockout stage of the tournament, although the two sides did share a win between them in the group stage of the competition in 2018/19.
The first legs of the quarterfinals will take place on 9/10, with the return fixtures scheduled for the following week, 16/17.
The semi-finals will kick off later than usual on April 30 and May 1, with the second leg taking place on May 7 and 8. The winners will face each other in the final on June 1 at London’s Wembley Stadium.
