Love Nwantiti, the smash tune by CKay, has become the most searched song on the music app Shazam worldwide.
CKay, a Nigerian artist, is enjoying the fact that his hit tune, Love Nwantiti, has become the most searched song on the music app Shazam around the world.
On Saturday, September 11th, 2021, the singer announced it on his Instagram page.
Love Nwantiti was first released as a single on CKay’s sophomore EP, CKay the First.
The song was so well received that he decided to remix it with Joeboy and Kuami Eugene, a Ghanaian artist.
Not content with that, CKay went on to record many versions of the song in order to reach more people in different areas.

This has now paid off for the artist, as CKay’s Love Nwantiti remix, which features Axel and DJ Yo, has topped the global Shazam chart. He announced it on his Instagram feed, writing:
“Number 1 Most Shazamed Song in the World- Love Nwantiti (ft Dj Yo & Ax’el) We literally global now! Emo-Afrobeat to the world”
In addition, the former Chocolate City vocalist was recently honoured by Youtube with a plaque for surpassing 100,000 followers on his channel.
