Nigerian Singer, Ckay has seen his song “Love Nwantiti” rise in popularity with the song debuting at No. 19 on Billboard World Digital Song Sales.
The Billboard charts themselves announced the debut of certain songs on the World Digital Song Sales chart, of which CKay “Love Nwantiti” was one.
This was announced on their Twitter page on Tuesday, September 21st, 2021.
Love Nwantiti was originally released as a single on CKay’s sophomore EP, CKay the First.
The song was so well received that he decided to remix it with Joeboy and Ghanian star, Kuami Eugene.
Unsatisfied with that, CKay went on to create multiple versions of the song in order to further penetrate different markets.
Just last week, the remix of the song with Axel and DJ Yo topped the global Shazam chart.

Love Nwantiti is CKay’s first Billboard appearance, debuting on the World Digital Song Sales chart. This was due in large part to his affiliation with Warner Music SA after leaving Chocolate City.
CKay has recently hinted that his debut album is also in the works.
