Ckay dragged for sending N1M giveaway to ‘friend’
Ckay has evoked the ire of angry fans who criticized him for picking his ‘friend’ as the winner of a N1M giveaway he carried out on social media.
Ckay was accused of preying on Nigerians’ intelligence after posting receipts for N1,000,000 he purportedly gave to two of his followers, Ajiroba Faithia Oyinkansola and Ebuka Wisdom Okoro.
According to the receipts shared by the singer, Oyinkansola and Okoro (with the Twitter handle @ibmk inc) each received a gift of N1,000,000 on Monday after proving themselves to be ardent admirers.
On Sunday, Christmas Day, the singer of the song “Love Nwantiti” CKay made a promise to give a million Naira to anyone who could tell where he was born and from.

On Monday, he posted receipts showing Oyinkansola and Okoro as winners but Nigerians on Twitter opposed the receipts, claiming that the recipient of the giveaway didn’t answer the question and was his friend. See comments below:
