Chris Brown reportedly takes Quavo diss to the next level
Reports indicate that Chris Brown escalated his feud with Quavo by allegedly purchasing a large portion of tickets to the rapper’s concert, resulting in a sparsely filled arena for Quavo’s performance.
The tension between Chris Brown and Quavo arose from a verbal altercation, typical in the rap scene. It apparently stemmed from Brown’s “Freak” collaboration with Lil Wayne, Joyner Lucas, and Tee Grizzley, which seemed to allude to Quavo’s rumored relationship with Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, as well as Migos’ track “Bad and Bougie.”
In response, Quavo swiftly fired back, referencing Brown’s history of domestic violence allegations. Brown retaliated with “Weakest Link,” a track insinuating that many would have preferred Quavo’s demise over Takeoff’s in 2022.
Further fueling the feud, Brown alluded to the 2021 surveillance footage purportedly showing a physical altercation between Quavo and Saweetie. Quavo responded with “Over H*es & B*tches,” possibly hinting at a confrontation with Brown and mentioning Rihanna.
The hip-hop community has been vocal about the feud, with many asserting Brown’s dominance in the conflict. A viral video from a Quavo concert depicts a notably sparse crowd, prompting speculation that the feud with Brown may have impacted attendance, as Quavo was set to perform in just half an hour.
The cameraman stated, “Yo Chris Brown, Are you serious bro? I know you’ve got something to do with this. Ain’t nobody at my man Quavo’s show today? Chris Brown, come on bro. I know you called somebody to shut his show down. Where are the people? This is horrible… There’s nobody here.”
