Chocolate City is a Nigerian record label founded in 2005 by lawyer Audu Maikori along with Paul Okeugo. Generally regarded as the biggest and most successful indigenous urban record labels in Africa.

Chocolate City Music operates as a subsidiary of Chocolate City Group, one of the biggest entertainment conglomerates in Africa.
However, they posted the screenshot of the message sent by Blaqbonez via Twitter Direct Message, for what seems as a motivation and encouragement to other up-and-coming artists as Blaqbonez album and song tops apple music chat and album chart respectfully.
