‘Davido really cares about my personal dreams’ – Chioma hails hubby
Chioma Rowland Adeleke, the wife of Afrobeats megastar David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has spoken glowingly about her husband, applauding him for being deeply invested in her ambitions.
In a recent chat with Noire TV ahead of their highly anticipated luxury wedding in Miami, USA, the celebrity chef, fondly called Chef Chi revealed that Davido’s support goes far beyond their relationship, extending to her personal development.
According to her, the Assurance crooner not only showers her with love but also makes deliberate efforts to nurture her growth, often checking in about her next aspirations.
“David cares a lot about my dreams. I’ve faced a lot of challenges over time, but he would always ask me, ‘Chi, apart from all of this, what do you actually want to do?’ Then we would have plans and have stuff coming out in the next few months. He really cares about my personal dreams,” she said.
Chioma also praised Davido for being her rock during difficult moments, encouraging her and motivating her to keep going no matter the odds.

The lovebirds, who began their relationship back in their university days, have weathered several storms together — including the heartbreaking loss of their first son, Ifeanyi, in 2022.
Now parents to three children, including twins welcomed in 2023, the couple’s lavish white wedding in Miami, tagged Chivido 2025. The celebrations have begun in grand style, with a vibrant Havana Night-themed pre-wedding party setting the tone for the big day.
