Chelsea FC officially announce the signing of João Félix on Loan from Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea Football Club have completed and announced the loan signing of Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid, with the Portuguese set to see out the season at Stamford Bridge.
Joao Felix, a Portuguese forward who joined Chelsea on loan from Atletico Madrid, will play for the rest of the season with the team at Stamford Bridge.
The 23-year-old previously played for Benfica in his homeland before switching to the Spanish capital in the summer of 2019, for a record fee for both clubs.
Joao Felix is a skilled and fashionable attacker who performs best while moving fluidly across the forward line and participating in build-up play.

Joao Felix played for the Atletico team that won La Liga two years ago, and in his first season with Benfica as a teenager, he also won the league.
As well as team glory, the Portuguese international has been recognised individually, with his 2019 Golden Boy award honouring him as the best young player in Europe. He was also named Atleti Player of the Season last term by the club’s supporters.
At the Qatar FIFA World Cup, Joao Felix scored a vital goal in Portugal’s opening game, a 3-2 win over Ghana and he provided two assists during the tournament. He already has 28 caps to his name.
On moving on loan to Chelsea, Joao Felix said:
‘Chelsea is one of the great teams in the world and I hope to help the team reach their objectives, so I am very, very happy to be here and very excited to play at Stamford Bridge.’
