In addition to his initial question about counterfeit products, Davido had another reaction to the issue. A close associate of the singer disclosed that clubs in Nigeria sold him fake Hennessey upon his return from the United States.
In response, Davido promptly stated that he would be gifting his associate bottles of Martell instead whenever he arrived in the country, signaling a lighthearted and humorous take on the situation.
